Hello! The other day I finally got to go to Penneys and do some "proper" shopping! Lots of their Spring stuff is coming in so there was lots of new things to "need". Keep reading to see what I picked up as there are some fantastic bargains to be had.
The first thing I actually picked up on my way round the store was this black corduroy a-line skirt (€13). I've had my eye on the blue denim one for a while but when I saw this version, I had to have it. It's such a flattering cut and really versatile, it does however remind me of something I used to wear when I was five or six, but apparently that kind of style is making a comeback!
The next thing I picked up was this super cute pyjama set for just €5. Honestly, I have enough pyjamas to last me a life time but this set was just too cute to resist.
My two next purchases are something I've always meant to buy but just never got round to it. Penneys do this style of stretchy trouser/legging in lots of different prints and when I finally tried a pair on the other day, I was in love. They're so comfy due to the stretchy material and are also a super skinny fit, my favourite kind. They were only €12 each and they come in loads of different colours and prints.
Almost every time I go to Penneys I have to stock up on my daily essentials. If you've been following me for a while you'll know how much I love the Garnier Micellar Water and I always use the Penneys cosmetic pads with it. I also swear by this Batiste dry shampoo, it's great for getting your hair to last until the next wash and also for adding texture. I find that because my hair is so fine and 'silky', I sometimes need something to give it some texture.
So I feel slightly guilty for my next few purchases, about a month ago I put myself on a 'candle ban' as I have about ten candles yet to be burnt, but when I saw the White Tea scent in Penneys, I couldn't resist. The candle was €6 and is rather large, it says the burn time is a whopping fifty hours. Once I smelled the candle, I of course had to have the matching room spray. I also repurchased one of my favourite candles, the Clementine and Honey scent which was only €4 and the cute little rose gold tea light holder was on sale for just €1.
The blue striped shirt on the right is the sole reason I went to Penneys in the first place. It's such a gorgeous cut and I love the vertical stripes on the pocket in contrast with the horizontal ones on the rest of the shirt. The grey asymmetrical cut top caught my eye instantly because it's grey (my favourite colour) and is made of such a beautiful, silky material. Both the shirt and the top were only €13!
Onto the last three things, my favourite out of them being the stripped shirt dress on the left. It was just €13 and I love everything about it. As I'm not the tallest of people I can get away with wearing this as a dress but others might want to pair it with some leggings or jeans. The top in the middle was €8 and I love the stitching detail and the cut of the neckline. Finally, this khaki playsuit (which is much more green in person) was only €8 and it really flattering and I love it because I'll be able to dress it up with a pair of heels but also dress it down in the summer too.
Which is your favourite thing from this Penneys haul? Let me know in the comments and thanks so much for reading!
