Lately there's been a huge buzz on social media about the latest skincare offering from Hollywood. Glam Glow first started out with Super Mud and have three other face masks, Youth Mud, Thirsty Mud and Power Mud. They also offer an eye treatment called Bright Mud and in the US have just released a cleanser Super Cleanse.
I've wanted to try their products ever since I heard about them but as they are quite pricey and a students budget doesn't really accommodate for a €51 (£50) face mask, I gave them a miss. That is until I realised I could get a set of samples for just £13 from the Glam Glow UK website.
The Glam Glow Revitalise Try Before You Buy set comes with two samples of Super Mud, Bright Mud and Thirsty Mud. My skin has been acting up lately so I chose to use Super Mud first and Bright Mud to help with the dark circles under my eyes.
I loved the smell of Super Mud and used a foundation brush to apply it. I do this with all my face masks to ensure I get an even coverage and don't waste any product. I only used one half of one of the Bright Mud samples as there was a lot of product in just one capsule. I applied it all and waited for it to do it's magic.
Above is a very bare faced picture of my skin after the mask. I don't have problem skin by any means. I've never had acne and rarely get any 'pimples' but I do get patches of irritated skin from time to time and I can never seem to get rid of those few pesky blackheads on my nose.
I was very pleased with the result this mask gave my skin. It tightened my pores, and my skin looked a lot brighter. Now, by no means is it a miracle worker and I'm sure if your skin was a bit more problematic you might need a few tries of this to see a difference but I definitely think it's worth trying. The Bright Mud did help to reduce the dark circles and I will definitely be using it again.
