The other day I went for a walk with my family in some woods near our house. My favourite time of year to go for walks is just as winter starts, there's something so refreshing about the crisp icy air and of course the autumn leaves make the best crunching sound when you walk on them! I thought I'd share with you today the outfit I wore as it's perfect for winter, it'll keep you warm but also look good.
I bought this navy mac style coat in Penneys recently and I love it! Usually I'll plan a whole outfit around just one piece and for this outfit it was the coat (does anyone else do that?). It's very flattering, goes with just about everything in my wardrobe and it keeps me warm. I love the colour contrast between the coat and the buttons! Penneys have this in a khaki colour too.
I wore my trusty Levi jeans as they're the thickest pair of jeans I own and I've had them a few years so they're super comfy for walking. I love these jeans as I was measured for them so they're a perfect fit. My scarf is also from Penneys and while I bought it last year, they have loads of pretty scarfs again this year. I love Penneys knitwear as it's so inexpensive and on trend.
And finally, the boots. I bought this pair last year in Penneys and they're still in perfect condition even though I've worn them countless times! I love wearing boots like these in the winter months as you can pair them with a dress or jeans, they're so versatile. I also love the tan colour of these, it almost blends in with the fallen leaves!
