Yesterday I went into Lidl and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that they had a Macadamia Oil extract hair care line. Each product is only €1.99 and they have shampoo, conditioner, a hair mask, hair oil and a body butter.
I got very excited as I absolutely love the "real" Macadamia hair care range and this Lidl range is a quarter of the price, and even the packaging of the two are very similar as shown above. It's crazy really because if someone tried to sell me the Lidl range for the "real" range's price I'd probably buy it! I decided to go for the shampoo, conditioner and the hair mask, my hair isn't really damaged as it's not dyed so I didn't feel I needed the hair oil as well.
I couldn't wait to try them out and I was really impressed with them. The shampoo doesn't make a huge lather and I quite like that, my hair felt really clean after just one wash, usually I do two as my hair is long. I used the hair mask instead of the conditioner and left it on for 10 minutes as recommended.
I definitely noticed a difference as I was drying my hair, it was silky and smooth and my hair looked a lot healthier. They both also smelt gorgeous which is always something I look for in hair care. So get down to Lidl because I'm sure these will sell out quick once word gets out.
