Festival season can be a bit daunting, especially when it comes to deciding what to wear, but fear not, I'm teaming up with Ticketmaster Ireland * to give you a helping hand! There are quite a few different styles to pick from when it comes to festivals, and luckily for us, most of the shops on the high street have jumped on board the festival bandwagon so there's plenty of pieces to choose from!

90's Throwback
First up is the trend that seems to be everywhere lately and one that I absolutely love and if I was in Ireland this weekend, I'd totally be wearing this to Forbidden Fruit (which you can still get tickets for here) Mom shorts/jeans, vintage looking t-shirts and a pair of Converse or Vans and you'll look like you just stepped straight out of 10 Things I Hate About You.
Fishnet tights and socks have also become huge again recently with pretty much every shop (including Penneys) stocking them and I think it's a great way to add a little more to an outfit. I love the pop of primary colours in this outfit from the Vans and the Rain Mac (which will keep you nice and dry in the unpredictable Irish weather)!

Flower Power
Another trend that's pretty much everywhere at the moment is this floral/boho trend. I think playsuits are perfect for festivals because whilst still being floaty and girly, they won't blow up at the slightest hint of wind so you can be confident you won't accidentally flash anyone! Obviously this trend is better suited to slightly warmer weather, so I think it would be perfect for Longitude (which you can still get tickets for here) since it's in July and surely the weather will have warmed up by then, right?!
Since this trend is so popular at the moment, you're spoilt for choice when it comes to playsuits which is always handy. To make sure you stay nice and warm (well as warm as you can be in a playsuit), I've paired them with a cropped denim jacket and for footwear I think a statement sandal (the pom poms are my favourite) are perfect, but you could also wear a pair of Converse or even Adidas trainers if you wanted a little more comfort!

Glitter Princess
While this trend is far from what I would normally wear on a day to day basis, it's actually the one I'd most likely go for if I was heading to a festival and it would be perfect for anyone who planning on attending Sea Session (which you can still get tickets for here). Festivals are the perfect time to step outside your comfort zone and go a bit wild so why not wear a metallic Rain Mac that can be seen from space?!
I also love these sequin denim shorts from River Island, they add even more glitz to the outfit and your friends would certainly have a hard time losing you in the crowd. One of the best pieces in this outfit has to be the glitter welly boots from Penneys that only cost €9, they're cute and will also keep your feet dry from the inevitable festival mud!
Are you heading to any festivals this summer? What outfit is your festival style most similar to? Thanks for reading and if you are heading to any festivals this summer, I hope this gave you the outfit inspiration you were looking for!
