Hello! It's been quite a while since I've discussed something beauty related here on Penneys To Prada, so let's change that! Over the last month or so I've been trying out a few new products, from cleansers to brow products and wanted to share them with you all.
Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks *
Urban Decay recently released their Vice Lipstick collection which features 100 shades and 6 different finishes. Above (from left to right) are the shades Pandemonium, 714, Backtalk, Big Bang and Firebird. I've found myself applying Backtalk, a gorgeous mauvey nude, almost every time I do my makeup. It's one of the comfort matte finishes so though it's matte (my favourite finish for a lip product) it's not dry or flakey. I've also worn 714 quite a few times and it's now my go-to for that classic red lip.
Benefit's New Brow Range *
Another new beauty launch is Benefit's Brow Range. Since Gimme Brow and Brow Zings are such cult products in the beauty world, Benefit decided to bring out six new products to go alongside the three already existing ones. They've also expanded the colour range so there are now six shades of brow products to choose from! My favourite out of the four products pictured above is the 'Precisely, My Brow Pencil'. The super thin and small pencil gives really fine lines that leave your brows looking very full and natural, which is exactly what I want!
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Overnight Care *
This is the first product from La Roche-Posay that I've tried and it's made a brilliant first impression on me. I have sensitive skin bur it can also get quite oily and congested so overnight creams that work well with my skin can be hard to find. The reason I love the Toleriane Ultra Overnight so much is that it's almost like a gel once applied to the skin and sinks in immediately so my face isn't left feeling greasy. After using this every night for the past two weeks, I've really noticed a difference in my skin so I will definitely be trying out more of La Roche-Posay's products!
Nip + Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix
After trying out the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating pads and loving them, I picked up the cleanser too. I use this with one of the exfoliating face brushes from Penneys that are about €2 to really get a deep clean. I find this is the best cleanser to really clear out my pores but it does tend to leave my skin quite dry so I always make sure to moisturise well after I use it.
